7A09 T6 Angle aluminum belongs to Al-Zn-Mg-Cu super duralumin . This alloy has been used in the aircraft manufacturing industry in the late 1940s and is still widely used in the aviation industry. It is characterized by good plasticity after solution treatment, particularly good heat treatment strengthening effect, high strength below 150°C, and particularly good low-temperature strength; poor welding performance; tendency to stress corrosion cracking; needs to be coated with aluminum or other Protected processing use. Dual-stage aging can improve the alloy's ability to resist stress corrosion cracking. The plasticity in the annealed and just-quenched state is slightly lower than that of 2A12 in the same state. It is slightly better than 7A04. The static fatigue of the plate is sensitive to notches, and the stress corrosion performance is better than 7A04.
7A09 T6 Angle aluminum is used in the manufacture of aircraft fuel tanks, oil pipes, and sheet metal parts of transportation vehicles and ships, instruments, street lamp brackets and rivets, hardware products, electrical shells, etc.
Chemical composition: Si: ≤0.50; Cu: 1.2～2.0; Mg: 2.0～3.0; Zn: 5.1～6.1; Mn: ≤0.15; Ti: ≤0.10; Cr: 0.16～0.30; Fe: 0.000～0.500
Mechanical properties: tensile strength σb (MPa): ≥530; elongation stress σp0.2 (MPa): ≥400; elongation δ10 (%): ≥5
