7005 T5 round aluminum bar is super duralumin, good welding performance, can be strengthened by heat treatment, higher than 7003 alloy, the strength is not as good as 6061 aluminum plate, but much lighter, typical lightweight aluminum,7005 T5 round aluminum bar strength is higher than 7003 alloy.
7005 T5 round aluminum bar is often used in the manufacture of welded structures that require both high strength and high fracture toughness, such as trusses, rods, and containers for transportation vehicles; large heat exchangers, and welded structures that cannot be solidified after welding. Fused parts; also used in the manufacture of sports equipment such as tennis rackets and softball bats.
